DIgium expands Cloud Agent program to broaden channel reach


Digium has announced the expansion of its Cloud Agent program in order to offer more levels and greater flexibility for Master Agents and Subagents of various capabilities. The program provides current and prospective channel partners the ability to offer Switchvox Cloud services to their existing SMB customer base as well as new prospects, while maximizing commissions in the rapidly growing cloud services market.

Digium also introduced its first two Master Agents, Acuity Technologies and Clarus Communications, who will immediately begin offering agents the opportunity to expand their portfolios with Digium’s award-winning Switchvox Cloud Unified Communications (UC) phone system.

Switchvox Cloud is available in the lower 48 United States. It is an affordably priced, full-featured UC cloud solution. Digium’s unique “all features included” pricing model for Switchvox Cloud takes the guesswork and complexity out of choosing and deploying an advanced business phone system. For businesses needing more flexibility, Digium also offers a premises-based Switchvox. If needs change, businesses can quickly and seamlessly move from one to the other, without requiring users to learn a new system. This unique capability to transition between a hosted and premises solution, or operate in a hybrid cloud/premises model, reduces CapEx, minimizes system administration, and eliminates training employees to use different phone systems.

The Digium Cloud Agent program levels are structured to allow agents a variety of ways to partner with Digium, providing partner levels geared to desired entitlements, performance, and commitment. Partners are matched to the level which best aligns with their business model.

The program levels are Master Agent, Premier Agent, and Subagent. Master Agents manage partners and subagents who sell services to business customers. They provide partners with valuable services like back office support, consultation, and product training. Recurring evergreen commissions are paid to Master Agents directly by Digium. Premier Agents provide Digium services to business customers and receive recurring evergreen commissions directly from Digium.           Subagents provide Digium services to business customers and receive recurring commissions from a Digium Master Agent.

Digium Cloud Agents receive the support and benefits of Digium’s award-winning channel program such as access to Digium sales leads, product promotions, access to marketing resources and free, online training. Cloud Agents have access to all Digium products, including Digium IP phones, which offer the highest level of customization and tightest integration with the Switchvox Cloud phone system.
