Panda launches new TrustLayer Mail managed security service
14 January, 2007

Security vendor Panda Software has launched its new TrustLayer Mail managed security service. This service ensures that corporate email is free from viruses, spam and other malicious or inappropriate content. TrustLayer Mail service quality is backed by a Service Level Agreement (SLA) to guarantee clients' email is 100% virus-free.
TrustLayer Mail is a fully-configurable, managed service providing antivirus, anti-spam and content filtering features as well as mail continuity to ensure that email is not lost when clients' mail servers are out of action. As there is no need for investment in dedicated hardware or software, TrustLayer Mail is a genuine cost-saving service for companies. Clients simply pay for the number of active mailboxes, which can be increased at any time.
Similarly, as junk email is removed before reaching the company, clients will also enjoy considerable savings on bandwidth. As this is a managed service, companies do not need to use their own servers to store mail suspected of containing viruses or other threats, as it is stored in Panda's own servers.
