Arrow ECS expands HP Deal Support Desk

Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions, a business segment of Arrow Electronics Inc., is expanding its HP Deal Support Desk with additional staffing and support services on all HP enterprise product lines, as well as assistance with identifying and registering sales opportunities for HP's special-pricing programs.

Launched last year, the HP Deal Support Desk is a hotline to assist resellers with identifying sales opportunities and maximizing sales margins for HP products.

The hotline initially provided presales tools, resources and guidance on HP BladeSystem solutions. For instance, resellers who call the desk receive live support with gathering product comparisons for customers or qualifying for sales promotions. Arrow ECS is expanding the program to now include similar support for HP StorageWorks products, with support for HP business-critical servers, software and services support coming this summer.

In addition, Arrow ECS now advises resellers on discounts they might qualify for, such as those available through HP's Value Big Deal and new Value Express Pricing programs that offer HP resellers greater flexibility, predictability and speed in qualifying for pricing discounts. At resellers' request, Arrow ECS will register sales opportunities for the special pricing on their behalf.
