TreeHouse announces updates of its SaaS CRM product suite
29 September, 2008 By Vanessa Ho |

TreeHouse Interactive, a provider of on-demand partner relationship management (PRM), channel sales force automation (CSFA) and marketing automation solutions, has announced new version of its Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) CRM product suite that improve efficiencies and process integration between partners and manufacturers.
The suite includes version 6.0 of TreeHouse Reseller View, Sales View 7.0 and MarketingView 5.0. The suite provides partner relationship management, channel sales force automation and multi-channel marketing automation. Customers can also buy each product separately.
TreeHouse Reseller View PRM provides organizations the scalability required to treat their partner networks like their internal sales teams. It also allows different navigation, features and content to be delivered to different levels of partners. As well, Reseller View is a customizable solution that lets companies develop multi-tier web portals that is consistent with their branding and design.
New features in Reseller View include full international character support; new lead distribution model; special pricing approval module; paperless and automated marketing development funds (MDF)/Co-op management; and training and certification modules.
According to Erich Flynn, CEO of TreeHouse Interactive, the target for Reseller View PRM is anyone that sells through a partner network.
"The better a manufacturer can support their partner network and the more tools they give them to successfully sell and support that network, the better for the partner," said Flynn.
He added that TreeHouse's PRM can be up and running in three weeks and that "there is no excuse to have a crummy web presence for your partners anymore. You can have everything they need to sell and service your products without having to hire staff as we do it as a SaaS implementation."
Sales View provides companies a better understanding of internal and partner sales forecasts and quotas as well as MDF/Co-op spending and ROI. It also includes actual POS sales by partner, distributor and product and the ability to recognize revenue worldwide. As well, it provides reporting and analytics for real-time decision making and one touch compensation management.
Flynn said that Sales View is for any manufacturer that sells to the channel.
"We allow manufacturers to understand what their sales velocities are and recognize revenue, which in the channel has been a labour intensive issue to deal with," he explained.
The benefit for partners when a manufacturer uses Sales View is they can integrate it into their PRM system and deliver automated paperless MDF and Co-op management.
Additionally, manufacturers can use Sales View to see the investment they are making with partners and it maps those investments against sales for real time analysis of ROI so manufactures can see what they are spending to what they are actually getting.
Other new features include the ability to upload and integrate worldwide distributor inventory in addition to POS; revenue recognition capabilities for a complete, accurate and auditable view of channel revenue; improved product level analytics to measure sales velocity and weeks of inventory by product; and improved UPC administration.
TreeHouse Marketing View allows enterprises to build and manage detailed databases of end users, partners and prospects to create marketing campaigns across multiple channels such as trade shows, print advertising and telesales. Additionally, Marketing View automates lead generation, qualification and distribution to sales resulting in faster time to revenue and decreased cost per qualified lead. The target for this solution is any company trying to generate, qualify and distribute leads.
Enhancements made to Marketing View include full international character support with unicode to support global customers; upgraded form builder; new ContactXtend ability to upload any custom contact data; improved contact manager; improved action builder with TreeHouse AutoResponse for better date triggers and duplicated actions; and TreeHouse CampaignMaximizer that enables randomized tests of multiple creative executions to ensure that only the best performing campaigns are chosen.
Examples of customers using the TreeHouse solutions include Incentra Solutions, which uses Marketing View; Maggie Sottero Designs, which uses Marketing View and a module of Reseller View; Motion Computing uses all three products; Quantum Corp uses Reseller View and Marketing View; and Step Up Womens Network uses Marketing View.
Available now directly from TreeHouse, there is no pricing for the suite but each individual solution is priced as follows: Reseller View is priced per level but not priced per reseller in the system. Pricing starts at $3000 a month and $7000 to $10,000 to set-up. The set-up cost is helping customized the portal to the look and feel of the manufacturer. Sales View is priced on a per user base starting at $50 to $100 per user and $3000 to $10,000 to set-up. Marketing View starts at $599 a month with pricing based on the number of contacts in the database.
